![]() ![]() ![]() What changes in Progressive isn't the AI, it's that the battlefield scaling makes rogues slow. I loved the fast units from the Colonial Age btw, they were really powerful, even better than the more popular Grenadiers, however they only work if you use the semi auto combat method I mentioned. Pass the first turn with your regular units and then click the button to finish combat with auto combat, it will reduce your damage a lot for your units, but it's a bit slower than full auto combat. They are slow and thus don't get hit first and they are the most durable units, they usually do best with rogues.įinally you can counter with this semi auto combat. You can also counter this by using heavy units. It's especially good if you face two waves of enemies, because if one dies in wave 1 you don't have to give up. ![]() You can counter this by using two regular units along with rogues, which is good practice anyway. The fast unit will rush ahead and get killed by the ranged units and then all your rogues die. So if you want to do full auto combat then using fast units is a bad idea, especially against ranged units. However if they can't target a rogue, but they can target a regular unit then they will target that regular unit. In the guild expedition and guild battlegrounds they will target your rogues first. You can still use them, but you will need to use manual combat. You see if you have no regular units left, then your rogues die from one hit. On the Continental Map and the PVP Arena the AI will target your regular units first, this makes it a lot harder to use rogues. First the AI of armies is different in different areas. ![]()
